We also digest better throughout the day than in the evening. So there is evidence to suggest that breakfast should be the biggest and most important meal of the day.
To break this bad habit, set your breakfast out the night before. If you’re having porridge, get the oats ready in a bowl with a spoon. In the morning it’ll be less hassle to add milk than it is to pack all of that away. Have eggs. Eggs are a healthy way to start the day and they also take no time at all to make. As with the cereal, pre-grate some cheese and chop mushrooms. Leave in the fridge overnight and chuck in an omelet for a quick and tasty breakfast.
